3) Blood Tests

Blood tests are performed, if your allergist finds it useful. The test is performed when the body reacts with specific allergen so, IGE levels in the blood is analyzed.

4) Spirometry Test

If your symptoms are pointing about Asthma then, you will have gone through spirometry test. It is a lung function test and it is called that Asthma often occurs who have allergies.

In both tests, allergens are recognized by tests.

In food challenge test, specific suspected foods are given to determine type of food allergy. It is only performed in clinic.
